AKCT - Profile: Lyle Brunkhorst

Lyle Brunckhorst made his first knife back in 1976 when living in White Sulphur Springs, Montana. At the time Lyle was an avid hunter and spent most of my time in the great outdoors where his first knives were put through their paces.

In1998 Lyle formed the Northwest School of Knifemaking where a variety of courses have helped pass on these hard earned skills to new generations of knife makers. From organising shows, events and publishing articles, Lyle Brunckhorst remains one of the most tireless knife makers around.
